/>Alots of army ppl as its yet another saf handled event...<br />Whole padang is damn muddy...<br />Damn sian la... dirty my only pair of track shoes...<br /><br />Flagged off at the esplanade bridge 6.30...<br />The amount of runners is total insane...<br />Although i'm short i can still see a sea of heads in front of me...<br /><br />The route:<br />We turn left at the fullerton...<br />Up the Shears bridge...<br />Down the ECP expressway...<br />Turn right into East Coast Park...<br />Keeping the spirit high while waiting for the U-turn point to appear...<br />U-turn...<br />After passing the 11km marker...<br />I had weird feeling thanks to the 3 bananas...<br />Further down east coast keeping left<br />Ran into some construction site...<br />The tar road is very uneven with pitches and soft...<br />Many people feedback this part of the race is the worse to run...<br />Across the marina barrage...<br />Turn into marina south...<br />Back into the CDB area...<br />Finishing line outside cityhall...<br /><br />The race was very challenging and testing your limits...<br />I never knew i can ran 21km non-stop...<br />Clocking a timing of 2hr 15mins...<br />which many says was considered quite fast...<br />But hell no i'm willing to try standard chartered any time soon....<br />Next up Nike+ Human Race 10k...<br />Should be no kick after u have ran for 21k...<br />Anyway of fun, memories and tanning...<br />Make new friends...Seeing gals...<br />With free injuries to be taken home...<br /><br />Day 0:<br />Skip it as i have yet to draw my room keys...<br />What they did was ice breakers and banner painting...<br /><br />Day 1:<br />Arrived at 8.30 to draw keys and joined my OG aka Camalus...<br />Each group about 20 ppl and half of them are female woohooo...<br />But i shy so i try to be low profile...<br />Gave a short intro of myself and i hated it cos don't know what to say...<br /><br />Morning was in-house games...<br />got K-ge wang, Obstacles course, Food passing, Word game...<br /><br />Afternoon has to travel round the campus to different stations...<br />After playing still have to look for clues to the next station...<br />got Message passing, Splash water, Fruit passing, Bomb catcher, 100sec no NG...<br />Coverage include North & South Spine, SRC and NIE...<br /><br />Night time was initiative night...<br />Everyone was blindfold and led round the hall doing stupid stuns...<br />While walking got seniors spraying flour, shot water gun, tickle you with leaves...<br />Station 1:<br />We are broken into small groups...<br />I was brought into the toilet and asked a question if wrong i have to auto on the showers, after that whole body wet damn cold la...<br />Others kena dancing, singing, cheering and others stupid things lol...<br />Station 2:<br />We joined back and move on to next location where we are told to sit down and the seniors uses markers to draw on your limps and lipstick & flour for your face...<br />For this part i got myself a nice sheep tattoo on my arm and a white face with wide big mouth similar to the joker in the dark knight...<br />Station 3:<br />We are also told to find coins inside a container of worms and touching weird stuffs which i think was pig liver...<br />Station 4:<br />Moving around a soapy patch of floor, we have to crawl, roll, walk, swim around the place purpose of cos is to make you dirty...<br />Finale:<br />Sliding down a hill cover with soapy wet canvas sheet, I wonder where they get such a big piece...<br /><br />It's still early man...<br />Coming right up was night walk inside a tunnel aka drain...<br />There is a portion about 100+m long which is covered so we have to walk from one end to the other...<br />Inside was total darkness and we have to stick close to the walks and place our hands on each other shoulders lucky it wasn't smelly at all so still ok...<br /><br />By the its was about after 1am, everyone was tiring hoping it was the end but it's not there is one more final part...<br />Transporting a lighted candle across obstacles course with water pipes splashing from all directions...<br />Everyone was wet, the water was cold, the air was cold and i'm shivering...<br />We are quite bad in this and did it 4 times the cheated our way through lol...<br /><br />The day ended with a cup of hot milo and we are dismissed...<br /><br />Day 2:<br />The day started with more games of course...<br />We have to complete task within time limit and challenges against others groups to fight for the golden ticket which will be used later during the ultimate snake and ladder...<br />Games: Blindfolded obstacles, Blindfolded item finder...<br />Challenges: Maths quiz, Poker trivia, Treasure hunt...<br /><br />The ultimate snake and ladder board was insane...<br />It is full of dare and ? challenges...<br />Losing team has to forfeit and take on the exotic cuisine...<br />While the winner of each challenge can walk away with tidbits...<br />Its was very fun, kinda wasted my OG was only second as the winners got a lots of tidbits...<br /><br />At night was our SP night...<br />Again everyone was blindfolded and randomly paired up...<br />Some time was given for us the get to know each other...<br />As it was suppose to be 'secret partner' we are not allowed to say anything that will identify us...<br />Well i so shy of cos i dun know what to talk also... half the time was silence...<br />The first gal rejected me :(<br />Second gal slightly better liao less pauses and since she lazy find another person so we sui bian accept lo haha...<br /><br />Day 3:<br />We went to the Sports and Recreational Centre...<br />Tele-matches and street soccer was conducted...<br /><br />Afternoon was pool games<br />First was tug-of-war in the water...<br />Second, swim to the other end and act out after that swim back...<br />Third, word forming...<br />All these are super tiring...<br /><br />Followed by field games...<br />well, water was poured to the the field so it is mend to be a dirty game...<br />SG famous 'Tou Pok' aka stacking on top of each other was a key game...<br />Eg: they say 4 guys 3 gals then the 7 of them have to rush into the mud puddle and stack up, fastest group win of cos...<br /><br />Night we had OG supper...<br />Pizza was ordered as we discuss about out skit...<br /><br />Day 4:<br />This was a bad day...<br />I woke up finding myself covered with rashes on arms and tights...<br />At first i thought it was bed bugs...<br />When i gathered for breakfast then found out many others also same...<br />Some of them thinks that it was caused by the contaminated field...<br /><br />After breakfast was the start of our amazing race...<br />First 2 winners will get their own chalet while 3rd n 4th have to share same chalet<br />First group will move out at 7am...<br />My group was second to leave...<br /><br />1st station was NTU to Chinese Garden...<br />We have to find clues leading to our 2nd location...<br />The gave us a large to find for pieces of paper...<br />As we are leaving the 3rd group have just reach...<br /><br />2nd station Chinese Garden to Jurong East Interchange...<br />Here we have to search the bus and mrt area for a person...<br />This time we are allowed to take 1 bus to the next destination...<br /><br />3rd station Jurong East to Holland Village...<br />We decided to take 198 to Bouna Vista and walk to Holland V...<br />105 travel to too many area even it reach Holland V direct...<br />At Holland V we have to find 4 different passer-by and act out 5 different sports for them to guess...<br />Basically we find ang mo to help as they are more friendly...<br />By now both 3rd and 4th group have reach Holland V too<br />We took a 30mins lunch break over here and it was almost noon...<br /><br />4th station Holland Village to Taka with option to take 1 bus for 2 stops...<br />We walked to Botanic Garden then took 1 bus and alight at Tanlin Mall...<br />Then we continue walking to Taka Basement the fountain area...<br />The game at this station i don't know to explain by typing so i skip it...<br /><br />5th station Taka to Bugis Junction...<br />At bugis we are given photos and we have to find the shop name within the mall...<br />At this station we already know we have lost the race...<br />Even so the race must go on...<br /><br />6th station Bugis to Geylang one of the Dou Hua Dian...<br />We have to pass one you tiao using the mouth from the first to last person...<br />While passing you can eat the part which you just bite...<br />We took another break eating and drinking at the stall...<br /><br />7th station Geylang to Kembagan MRT...<br />This route was damn kinda long and we just need to keep walking straight...<br />Here we have to perform to 2 passer-by...<br />Basically we just did our favourite cheer...<br /><br />8th station Kembagan to Tampines by mrt...<br />After alighting we walk to sun plaza park...<br />We have to turn 10 rounds and kick the ball into the small goal...<br /><br />Final station Tampines to Pasir Ris mrt...<br />By the time we reach i think is about 7+...<br />We took about 12 hrs...<br />Dinner was taken at the food court...<br /><br />Finale of the day...Fright Night...<br />Coincidentally it was first day of 7th month after midnight...<br />Before that the guys are tekan with they try to identify their SP...<br />Mine still consider quite minor...<br />I did 40 push ups, ate chili padi with wasabi and taking a small biscuit out from a plastic cup...<br />Next i have to identify my SP by feeling her hand blindfolded...<br />I was given about 8 hands to feel...<br />Heng Heng i found her the first attempt wor...<br />About my SP, she kinda small size cute cute long hair those you would want to protect type LOL...<br />Too bad not suitable :( We are totally 2 different world :(<br /><br />For the fright night it was kinda interesting...<br />The wrote a story for it and there are task to perform...<br />My SP was kinda afraid so i must be zai enough to lead her through...<br /><br />Day 5:<br />Beach Day...<br />We went to siloso beach i think, anyway its the one nearest to underwater world...<br />We played dog and bone, frisbee, rolling human chain...<br />The key game was captain's ball with whole chickens, raw fish, squids, cuttlefish, carrot, banana, celery etc...<br /><br />The camp ended with a retreat and prize giving at K union cine...<br />Everything ended at around 11+ and we are free to K until 6am...<br />So many people very hard to get the chance to choose song...<br />We decided to catch the mummy at 2am...<br />But 18 out of the 20+ people knock out during the movie including me...<br />When we went back K union still got quite a few people around...<br />But they seems tired and we have just recharged during the movie...<br />So its our turn to enjoy the K...<br />Everyone was Brunei: 6<br /><br />Today is a eye opening day...<br />No aircraft work for me...<br />I was assigned to Rimba Airbase to receive a C-130 flight...<br />Rimba Airbase belongs to the Royal Brunei Airforce...<br />It is located in Brunei International Airport(BIA)...<br />Just that it is at the opposite end from the RSAF side...<br />I get to travelled on a parallel road about 100m away from the BIA runway...<br />very rare to see a commercial plane taking off at such a close distance...<br /><br />Rimba Airbase is also a helicopter base...<br />Basically Brunei has only 3 types of heli...<br />The BlackHawk is their most current model...<br />Also get to have a small tour of their hanger...<br /><br />Down came the C-130...<br />And out came the cargo for loading/unloading...<br />Together there is also 20 Brunei Army personals following it back to SG...<br />Just moments before the C-130 was about to depart for SG...<br />I then realise that I didn't bring ear defenders...<br />As I'm suppose to go retrieve back tht GPU...<br />I proceeded with my ears wide open...<br />It was insane to stand just metres away from the propellers...<br />The noise pollution is no joke...<br />Of cos i'm not that stupid i used my mighty fingers and cover the ears...<br />Hopefully i don't suffer any ears problem since its only for a few mins...<div Back from KL lo...<br />The trip was super packed...<br />We only slept 6hrs a day...<br />The hotel wise was quite normal la nth special...<br />We grabbed a map from the hotel and navigated ourselves around...<br /><br />Day 1...<br />Departed Golden Mile at 0830 and reached hotel at 1500...<br />WooHoo... We were given a 18 seater coach...<br />Free upgrade from the 26 seater booked...<br />Watched 2 movies on the way up whahaha...<br /><br />After throwing the bags in da room, we headed straight out...<br />First stop will be the nearest shopping mall...<br />Bukit Bintang(BB) Plaza and it was linked to Sungei Wang...<br />I will rate these 2 malls as Far East Plaza...<br />You will be surprise the amt of hp booth in the mall, its everywhere...<br />High tea was taken at Sungei Wang Lvl 6, similiar to Annex in Heeren...<br /><br />Right across the street from BB Plaza was Lot 10...<br />Well, Lot 10 has nth special and not much ppl too...<br />I will compare it to center point bah...<br />Followed up was exploring the area, walking aimlessly...<br /><br />After a short break back at the hotel...<br />We head out to Berjaya Time Square...<br />On the way, passed by Low Yat Plaza which looks like SimLim Sq...<br />Berjaya Time Square was huge, something like Ngee Ann City + Wisma...<br />It also house Malaysia's largest indoor theme park...<br />Before leaving we came across an ice cream shop having promotion so we join in the queue and bought a pint...<br />We ordered Cookies and Creams mix with Classic Chocolate...<br />I would say the Cookies and Creams is very nice with huge chunks of cookies...<br /><br />>2200, we went to Jalan Pinang to see their be given out at 0830 so we sit down and wait..<br />Well, We are the 1st batch to go up the Sky Bridge at 0900...<br />Its on level 42 and 170m above ground...<br />The weather was gd and the views were great...<br />Followed up was shopping at Suria KLCC...<br />Its was like a huge Vivocity with many branded shops...<br /><br />Afternoon was spend at the ChinaTown and City Bazzar<br />For me, I find theses 2 place has nth much...<br />Chinatown is like lower level bugis street...<br />City Bazzar is like the shops under Meridien Shopping Centre...<br />We also came across Tune Hotel...<br />A budget hotel under air asia with small rooms and low rates...<br />Location wise, the area got not much shopping but got monorail nearby...<br /><br />At night we went back to BB Plaza and Sungei
